Vincent H. Cumoletti, Jr., 62, of Dexter, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2025 at Samaritan Medical Center.
Vincent was born April 9, 1963, in Watertown, to Vincent H. and Sylvia (Gerstenschlager) Sr. He attended General Brown Schools and served in the United States Army until an injury honorably discharged him.
Vincent married Delia Campbell at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church on July 2, 1983.
Vincent worked for Whites Lumber, Minfelt, Laser Transit in Lacona, Dexelectrics, Lavalle Trucking in Potsdam, Northland Electric, Marcinko Trucking, FedEx Ground, and Marzano Paving, retiring in 2015.
He loved spending time with his girls, grandkids, and the love of his life. He enjoyed going to the Sportsman Club in Sackets and loved all things sci-fi and his belief in Aliens was out of this world! He would often say he was a very peoplely guy. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him were the lucky ones!
Vinny is survived by his beloved wife Delia, his mother Sylvia Macaulay, stepmother Joan Cumoletti, his four daughters and their families,
Tonya Watson and husband, Brownville, and her children, Jayden “Jed” Schmitte, Natalynn “Pippy” Schmitte, Shyanne “Annie” Schmitte and Laurynn Schmitte,
Nicole Cumoletti and her companion Stan Uscio, Dexter, and her son Castor Hartle,
Jessica and Joshua Groff, Watertown, and their children, Ava Moore, Haylee Moore, Carleigh Moore and Irisa Groff,
Stephanie and Justin Johnson, Black River, and their children, Bryanna “Breezy” Johnson, Vincent “Bubba” Johnson, Nevaeh Johnson, Brianna “Ronnie” Johnson,
His siblings, Deborah and Leon Dickinson, Watertown, Mark Cumoletti, Limerick, Marty Cumoletti, Watertown, Danny and Julie Cumoletti, Lorida, Florida, Mac and Johanna Macaulay, PA, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many many cousins.
As well as his puppy Lucy.
Vinny is predeceased by his father Vincent H. Cumoletti, Sr. and his granddaughter, Lyllianna M. Hartle, and his fur babies Shadow and babe.
Calling hours will be Friday September 19th from 5-7pm at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer service will be held Saturday September 20th at 9:15 am at the funeral home for immediate family with a 10 am funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church with Father Jude Nnadibuagha officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
