With heavy hearts, we announced the passing of Timothy Cozad age 74 on May 22, 2026.
Tim was born on August 6, 1951 in Bellefontaine, Ohio and he made his home at Ramsey Shores in Henderson Harbor, New York. He was the beloved husband of Diane Martin Cozad, and a cherish brother to Daniel Palmer. He is now reunited with his parents who proceeded him in death.
Tim had many passions throughout his life. He loved music, golfing, and fishing, all of which brought joy not only to himself, but to everyone around him. But football season was something special when you were around Tim. A devoted Buffalo Bills fan and lifelong Ohio State buckeye supporter, his love for football ran deep because of his Ohio roots. Fall weekends were filled with excitement, laughter, and cheering on the teams he loved.
Anyone who knew Tim, knew his incredible sense of humor and quick wit. No matter what the situation was, he could always find the joy and laughter to share with friends. His joyful spirt and his humor touched many lives.
Friends and family are invited to honor and celebrate Tim’s life on Friday, June 5 at 1:00 PM at DL Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. 135 Keyes Ave, Watertown, NY with internment immediately following in Glenwood Cemetery. A celebration of life gathering will follow at the Hilton Garden Inn. Where family and friends are welcome to continue sharing memories of Tim.
Flowers can be sent to D. L. Calarco Funeral Home Inc. and donations to Hospice of Jefferson County.
