Theodore G. (Ted) Kolb, 92, of Boon Street, Watertown, passed away May 19, 2026, at the Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Ted was born in East Rodman on June 15, 1933. He was employed at the NYS Department of Transportation, where he was an inspector, designer and co-designer on many construction projects. He retired in 1994 with 42 years of service.
Ted’s parents, William and Georgia (Lafferty) Kolb, his siblings, Evelyn Armstrong, Clifford Kolb, Billy Kolb, Maurice (Buddy) Kolb, Robet Kolb and Ruth Kolb, all passed away before him. His wife JoAnn of fifty-six years passed away on October 30, 2019.
Ted was a life time member of the Elks Club, the Italian American Club, and the Northside Improvement league.
Ted and JoAnn were the parents of three sons, Scott (Erin), Theodore G. “TG” II (Andrea), and Chad (Vicky), ten grandchildren, Kendall, Derrick (Chelsea), Kyra, Serafina, Matteo, Mia, Mikayla (Zackary), Miranda (Samuel), Kira and Caleb, three great grandchildren, Eva and Emelia, and Lincoln.
Ted enjoyed many happy years of sporting events by his grandchildren and three sons.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral mass will be held Friday at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
