Stanley Robert Bodway

Stanley Robert Bodway, 44, passed away recently in the CICU at Mission Hospital following a brief illness.

Stan was a kind and thoughtful friend, known for his quick wit and infectious laughter. He found the most joy in spending time with his partner, Steven Dyer, their beloved boxers, Sassy and Pirate, and their close friend, Emily Espinoza. His presence brightened the lives of those around him, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother, Diana, and his siblings: Brad (Terri), Debbie (John), Vicki (Reggie), Mike (Sandi), and Kenny (Melissa). He was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and four siblings: Junior (Lori), Lindy, Brian, and Henry.

A lifelong gardener, Stan cared deeply about the natural world. In his memory, those who wish to honor him are encouraged to plant a tree—especially in light of the many trees lost to recent storms in our area.
