Shane M. McWayne

Shane M. McWayne, 64, of Watertown, passed away, December 13, 2025, at Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Shane was born June 13, 1961, in Watertown, NY, daughter of Frederick and Patricia (Carpenter) McWayne. She attended Watertown Schools. Shane was an aid for Jefferson Rehabilitation Center and worked with her mother as a sales clerk for Bare Elegance in Watertown.

Shane enjoyed quilting, volunteering at schools and her family cottage.

Surviving are her father, Frederick, a brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Kathy, four nieces and nephews, Tracey (Mike) Slate, Matthew (Sara) Smith, great nieces and nephews, Jake Nadelen, Lucus Slate, Madilyn Smith, and Andrew Smith.

Per Shane’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in the spring at North Watertown Cemetery. Arrangements are with D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. Online condolences may be made to www.dlcalarco.com
