Ronald J. Hyde

Ronald J. Hyde, 79, of Watertown, passed away November 10, 2025, at Upstate Medical Center.

Ronald was born August 10, 1946, in Watertown, son of Edward T. and Beatrice H. (Coleman) Hyde. He graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy and attended Jefferson Community College. He is a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church.

Ronald began at the Watertown Daily Times as a Paper Boy. For forty years he worked in the composing room of the Watertown Daily Times and for the last few years he was a supervisor before his retirement.

Ronald was a fan of the New York Yankees. He attended several Syracuse University Football games with his father.

He is survived by a sister, Mary E. Hyde and a brother, John E. Hyde, both of Watertown. He is also survived by cousins.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1pm at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.dlcalarco.com
