Robert Barnett Obituary

Robert M. Barnett, Jr.  51, passed away January 11, 2025 in the Town of Worth. Bob had been snowmobiling with a friend when the accident happened.

Bob was born September 1, 1973 in Watertown, son of Robert M. and Bonnie L. (Holder) Barnett, Sr,. A marriage to Amy L. Wills ended in divorce. Bob began a new journey with Nikki E. England in February of 2002. They were engaged on November 12th of 2020. He was employed with Jake’s Collision and Repair for over 25 years as a collision and repair expert. He was dedicated and extremely hard working so that he could take care of his family and have his toys.

Bob loved four wheeling, snowmobiling and especially hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and helping people. Bob loved his animals especially Mr. Kitty who he lost April 7th of 2022. He found another best friend when he got his Siamese cat Yukon whom he adored. Bob could always be found in his garage with friends and family afterwork and on the weekends. He loved having family and friends together listening to music and singing songs while having drinks. That time is what he treasured most. Bob was loved deeply by everyone around him and he wasn’t always the best at showing his sensitive side, but we all knew how much he loved and cared for those around him.

Bob loved his father and grandmother very much. He loved telling stories and reminiscing of time he spent with them to his children. He always wished he had more time with each of them. That is what drove him to be the great Father that he was.

Bob is survived by his mother, Bonnie Barnett, Watertown, fiancé, Nikki E. England, Watertown, his sister, Patricia M. (Scott) Watson, Pennsylvania, two sons, Michael R. Barnett and his fiancé Lin Muckey, Adams, Justin R. (Rachel)Barnett, Adams, his daughter, Angel (“RC”, Richard) Chaney, Camden, NC, Nikki’s two children Stefan M. Burham and Shianne B.
