Pamela Gagnon Obituary

Pamela Irene (Deshaies) Gagnon, 83, passed away on October 22, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Pamela “Pam” was born in Livermore Falls, Maine on August 14, 1942, to George Deshaies and Leonie (Fournier) Deshaies.  She was the youngest of four children and shared a close bond with her older brothers ( Gerald, Bernard, Bob ) and her cousin Ronnie Roy.

Pam attended St. Rose Parochial School and graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1960.  Throughout her years in school, she developed life long friendships that she would maintain for the rest of her life. Carol Perreault, Nancy Wakefield, Margaret Gamage, and Jeannine Wilkins were the closest of these friendships.

Pam married Richard J. Gagnon on November 25, 1967 at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Chisholm, Maine.  Pamela and Richard raised two children:  Thomas R. Gagnon and Stephen G. Gagnon.  She would eventually settle with her family in Watertown, New York.

After graduating high school, Pam worked in the loan processing department at Livermore Falls Trust Company.  Her business experience would eventually lead her to the position of office manager at Lettuce Feed You, Inc. in Watertown, New York.  In that position she managed the accounts for over ten McDonald’s franchises in the northern New York area.  Throughout her years at Lettuce Feed You, Pam was known for her dedication and integrity.  She worked in that position for over 20 years retiring in 2006.

Pam’s kindness and generosity maintained her family and also touched the people she met and worked with.   Pam was loved and respected by all who met her.

Pam is survived by her husband Richard, her sons Thomas, Watertown, New York, and Stephen (Jacqueline), Watertown, New York, and a brother Gerald, Livermore Falls, Maine.
