Michael J. Siragusa

The family of Michael J. Siragusa, of Watertown, NY, are saddened to announce his passing on July 1, 2025 at the age of 72 years old.

Michael was born on March 24, 1953, to Benny Siragusa and Catherine McMillan Siragusa, the fourth of five children. He graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy in 1971. Michael worked his entire career for the City of Watertown as a plow driver and road worker for the Department of Public Works. He retired at the age of fifty-five.

He is survived by his beloved children, Jacqueline Siragusa and Benjamin Siragusa both of Syracuse, his grandsons, Chance and Sawyer of Syracuse, his brother, Patrick and his wife Maureen of Watertown, his sister-in-law, Lynn Siragusa of Rochester, his brother-in -law, Richard Musto of Keeseville, twelve nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Gerald Barry, his brother, Benjamin, his sister, Anna Musto and great niece Madeline Musto.

His marriage to Kathryn Disbro ended in divorce. Kathryn passed away July 18th, 2024.

Mike enjoyed hunting at his family’s hunting camp and playing Bocci Ball at the Italian American Civic Association. He loved the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. After every Yankee game he would call his brother Pat to review the entire game.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

He was loved by many and will be sadly missed. He touched many lives with his good nature and big heart.
