Jessica J. Caforio

Jessica J. Caforio, 41, Watertown, died February 7, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

Jessica was born May 10, 1981 in Hamilton NY, a daughter of Stanley Rice, Jr. and Jean Allen Garnsey. She graduated from Lowville Academy in 1999, attended Coastal Carolina University and the University of Buffalo.  Jessica worked for Michael Young and his family in Lowville before becoming a secretary for ABC Refrigeration in Syracuse, NY.  Jessica enjoyed cross stitch and doing puzzles. 

Surviving are her mother Jean Garnsey, Watertown, Stanley Rice, Jr. Alexandria Bay, a son Jayden M. Locklear, Lumberton, NC, a brother Grant Rice, Knoxville, TN, two sisters, Shannon Curtis, Watertown, NY, and Becky Slapp, Alexandria Bay, an aunt, Jackie (Gary) Hays, Gouveneur, two uncles Gary (Sue) Mceuen, Cortland and Eddie (Kathy) D’Aurizio, Pittsford, NY.  She is also survived by her beloved dog Bob. A daughter Amaya H. Allen died before her. 

Calling hours will be Friday February 17, 2023 from 3-5  at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. followed by a funeral service with Reverend Gail Parsons officiating.  Condolence may be made to www.dlcalarco.com.
