Isabelle A. Mills

Isabelle A. Mills, 81, of Melbourne, FL., formerly of Watertown, passed away January 9, 2024 in Melbourne, FL.

Isabelle was born on November 14, 1942 in Watertown, daughter of Archie and Helen (Cleary) Rutigliano. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1960 and on December 7, 1963 she married Robert L. Mills at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. Mr. Mills served in the United States Marines and United States Air Force. He retired as Deputy Fire Chief of the City of Watertown Fire Dept.

Isabelle was one of the last Dispatcher Matron for Jefferson County Sheriff Department. Retiring from Jefferson County Fire and Emergency Management as a Dispatcher in 2007. Isabelle and her husband moved to Florida in 2007 She was a former member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed daily scratch off tickets, was an avid NY Yankee Fan, and was an all-around sports fan.

Surviving are her husband, Robert L., two sisters, Mary (Sam) Fiorentino, Debbie (Donnie) Patchen, two brothers, Peter (Bettina)Rutigliano, Jeffrey (Jamie) Rutigliano, Sr., all of Watertown, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Izzy’s family would like to thank Marsha and Tommy Shields for all of the care and attention they gave to Izzy and Bob while they were neighbors and ultimately became their best friends.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery on May 31, 2024 at 11 am with a Celebration of Life to follow. Arrangements are with D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. Online condolences may be made to www.dlcalarco.com
