Francis F. Bero

Francis F. Bero, 94, of Adams Center, passed away September 29, 2024 at Samaritan Summit Village.

Mr. Bero was born in Raymondville on October 12, 1929, son of Mitchell J. and Matilda (LaClair) Bero. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Marines as a helicopter mechanic.

He married Kathleen B. Christian on

May 31,1984. She passed away July 27, 2009.

 Mr. Bero had his own cleaning business & was a school bus driver for Massena Central School, retiring in 1994. He then moved to Wildwood, Florida in his retirement. In 2017 due to health reasons he moved to Canastota with his daughter& son Inlaw.

He is survived by a son, Robert (Cathy) Bero in Georgia, a daughter Sandra (Richard) Carrier Jr. , three grandchildren, Richard L. (Sarah) Carrier III, Carrie L. (Donnie) Velasquez and Tina Armstrong, four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Gage, Timothy and Matthew. A daughter Deborah Armstrong died before him.

 Brother John ( Peggy) Bero,Sister Ella Mae Emerson, nieces & nephews include William(Tina)Bero,Gary Bero, Doug (Meg)Emerson,& Brian(Sarah)Emerson.

There will be A Celebration of Life held at New Testament Church,265 Andrew St.,Massena,NY. Oct.26,2024 -11am
