Delia A. Cumoletti, 60, of Dexter, passed away at her home on October 28, 2025 under the care of Hospice and surrounded by her four daughters and many loving family members. Delia was born April 12, 1965, in Findlay, Ohio, a daughter of Robert A. and Gladys M. (Morin) Campbell Sr. She moved to the Watertown area when she was a child and graduated from Watertown High School class of 83’.
On July 2, 1983 she married Vincent H Cumoletti, Jr. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, with Father Dostie officiating. Mr. Cumoletti passed away on September 15 of this year.
Delia worked for various department stores including: K Mart, Kohl’s and JC Penney. She was the assistant manager for Burlington Coat Factory when she retired in 2015.
Delia was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She had a love for horses. She’s loved crafts and enjoyed making many different things for her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Tonya and Joe Watson, Brownville, and their children, Jayden “Jed” Schmitte, Natalynn “Pippy” Schmitte, Shyanne “Annie” Schmitte and Laurynn Schmitte,
Nicole Cumoletti and her companion Stan Uscio, Dexter, and her son Castor Hartle,
Jessica and Joshua Groff, Watertown, and their children, Ava Moore, Haylee Moore, Carleigh Moore and Irisa Groff,
Stephanie and Justin Johnson, Black River, and their children, Bryanna “Breezy” Johnson, Vincent “Bubba” Johnson, Nevaeh Johnson, Brianna “Ronnie” Johnson (GA).
Her siblings, Eileen Phillips, Canastota, NY, Helen Monica, Savannah, NY, Dorothy (Ron) Campbell, Adams, NY, Carl “ Butch” Campbell, Canastota, NY, Angela Collins , Chaumont, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as her fur baby Lucy.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Vinny, both her parents Robert and Gladys, a brother, Robert A. “Bo” Campbell Jr., a granddaughter Lyllianna M Hartle, two nephews Robert “Bobby” Campbell III, and Robert “Robby” Whitton Jr., and a niece Christina “Chrissy” Shattuck.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11 am at Glenwood Cemetery with Reverend Michael Gaffney officiating.
