David Roy Bleau, 60 years old, passed away at Hospice of Jefferson County October 5th, 2021. David was born January 26th, 1961 in Fort Wainwright, Alaska to Lillian and David Bleau. David grew up in Waddington NY and graduated in the class of 1979 of Madrid Waddington High School. After high school, David served 2 years in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany. David later graduated from SUNY Canton where he received an Associates degree in HVAC.
David enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching wrestling, and going to the casino.
He is survived by his 4 children. Chantel Benton of Watertown, David Bleau (Carissa) of Madrid, Kyle Bleau (Miranda) of Watertown, Isabella Bleau of Cortland, and his grandchildren Hayden, Andrew, Camden, Caius, Davrigha. David had 7 sisters, Alma Cota of Ogdensburg, Elizabeth Sampson of Norwood, Laura (Kevin) Patnode of Waddington, Barbara Nelson of Waterloo, Rachel (Mike) Morales of Waterloo, Darcie (Dominick) Fero of Massena, and Julia Kaye Bleau who passed away in infancy. He also had 2 brothers, Craig Bleau of Philadelphia, and Daryl (Scott) Bleau of Rochester. David has 24 nieces and nephews and 35 great nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service held at the American Legion, 138 Sterling St Watertown NY, Friday October 8th at 1pm - 3pm. Food will be available.
