Bernard J. Kingsley

Bernard J. Kingsley, 66, of Watertown, passed away November 15, 2025, at his home under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County, surrounded by his family.

Bernard was born November 7, 1959, son of Frederick J. and Rosemary (Kelley) Kingsley. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1977.

On August 29, 1997, he married Debra McDonald at his home.

Bernard enjoyed construction, woodworking, cabinet making, carving and stained-glass work. But most of all he loved wood and animals.

Surviving besides his wife Debra are a brother, Jeffrey (Gail) Kingsley, Revere, MA, a sister, Sharon Sabo, Watertown, a step son Mark McDonald and life partner, Shana Shanahan, Watertown, five step grandchildren, Corey and Matthew McDonald, Jason and Paige Weinkertz, and Rielly Phillips, two step great grandchildren, Jace and Emory, several nieces and nephews. A step daughter Heather Weinkertz, died before him.

Calling hours will be Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 9:30 am-11 am at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc., followed by a funeral service at 11 am with Reverend Jaye Kumar officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham Street, Watertown, NY 13601.
