Arthur J. Jobson,67, of Watertown, passed away February 24, 2025, at Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Arthur was born November 28, 1957, in Watertown, son of John H. and Elsie M. (Pharoah) Jobson. He graduated from General Brown High School.
On December 29, 1980, he married Robin V. Roy at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Benoit Dostie officiating.
Arthur was a machinist for the NY Air Brake Co. and Hungerford -Holbrook Co. before becoming an inspector for Fisher Cast. Art retired due to a disability.
Arthur loved fishing, gardening, landscaping, cooking and baking. His grandchildren were his world, he loved being with them. He put everyone else first even on his worst days and was the rock of his family and had a patient heart of gold.
His family thought of him as the best father, husband, and grandfather that anyone could ask for.
Surviving besides is wife are a son Roger and his companion Nicole Caplicki, two daughters, Denialle (Harold) Rogers, Rebecca (Eric) Lugo, all of Watertown, eight grandchildren, Kaidence, Brooke, Roger, Jr., Layla, Joseph, Elijah, Aida and Jasen, four brothers, John (Linda Adams), Jerry (Lynda Youngs), Jack (Nancy), Jesse (Nicki), all of Watertown, three sisters, Bonnie (John) Allen, Jamie Jobson, both of Watertown, Kathy (Charles) Mackey, Brownville, a brother-in-law, Sam Hartman, several nieces and nephews and a new great grand baby due in June.
A sister Barbara Hartman died before him.
An hour of calling will be held beginning at 10 am on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will begin at 11 am with Rev. Frank Natali officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
