Alan R. Shepard

Alan R. Shepard, 60, of Perch Lake Road, Watertown, passed away February 7, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Alan was born November 9, 1964, a son of Earl and Charleen (Jobin) Shepard. He graduated from General Brown High School in 1982 and entered the US Army after graduation. He then was employed through the years with local hotels in the maintenance department, repaired ATM machines for STAT and was an independent contractor. His life long dream was to be a cabinet maker.

He is survived by his mother Charleen, a brother, Raymond Scott (with Sherri Jacobs) in Ramah, CO, a sister, Heather (with Richard Hennigan) in Bradford, PA, five nieces and nephews, Kenny, Ashley, Victoria, Rayanna and Camaron.

An hour of calling will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11am-12pm at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home with Reverend Arthur LaBaff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sackets Harbor American Legion immediately following the service.
