Mary Lou Pecori

Mary Lou Pecori, 91, formerly of 107 E. Lynde St., died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Carthage Area Hospital, after being transferred from Carthage Center for Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Pecori was born May 1, 1926, in Wilmington, NC, daughter of Herbert and Daisy Reed Rivenbark. She was educated in Wilmington, NC schools and married John P. Pecori on November 15, 1941, in Conway, SC. The couple moved to Watertown after their marriage. Mrs. Pecori worked at Butterfield School as a custodian for many years. She loved to play bingo and going to the casino.

Surviving are three sons, John, Jr. and Carol, Watertown, Paul J. and Reba, Springfield, TN, and Peter J. and Rosemary, Wilmington, NC, a daughter Mary Lou and Carl Farone, Watertown, a sister, Barbara Smith, Wilmington, NC, ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pecori is predeceased by her husband John, brother Herbert C. Rivenbark, Jr. and grandson John Edward Farone.
