Samuel S. Biondolillo, 88, of Watertown passed away April 26, 2017, at the Samaritan Medical Center.


Mr. Biondolillo was born June 28, 1928, in Watertown, a son of  Joseph and Lena DeCarlo Biondolillo. He graduated from Watertown High School. On October 23, 1948, he married Beverly Pfister at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Biondolillo died January 23, 2013.


Mr. Biondolillo served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. As a young man he was employed with the New York Railroad in Canton, NY before moving to Watertown. He retired from Productions Unlimited as a purchasing agent.


Mr. Biondolillo was a member of the Italian American Civic Association and the American Legion Post #61. He enjoyed having coffee at Arby’s with his friends in the morning, reading the Sunday newspaper, crossword puzzles, bowling and playing baseball.


Surviving are a son Timothy (Susan) Biondolillo, Plattsburgh, NY, a daughter Suzanne Belcher, Watertown, six grandchildren, Jason (Barb) Belcher, Chad Belcher, Michael Biondolillo, Jr. all of Watertown, Amy(Will) Rizzo, Virginia, Mia and Samuel Biondolillo, Plattsburg, four great grandchildren, Lucia and Willy Rizzo, Nicole Belcher and Gianni Belcher, A brother Joseph (Kathie) Biondolillo, Watertown, a sister, Pauline Tison, Arcadia, FL, a brother-in-law Kenneth Pfister, Watertown, a sister-in-law, Natalie Thomas, Brewerton, several nieces,  nephews and cousins. His son Michael J. Biondolillo died August 14, 2013.


There will be no calling hours. A prayer service will be held Saturday at 10:15 am at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. followed by a funeral mass at 11 am at Holy Family Church with Reverend Steven Murray officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Condolences may be made to www.dlcalarco.com
