Wow! What a wonderful life to celebrate. You always wore a smile and I remember the loving and positive conversations we had over he years.  I wasn’t lucky enough to see you often, but losing someone you love is never easy and Uncle Dicky you will never, ever be forgotten. Thank you for every moment shared and positive word spoken.

Our family did quite a bit of hand holding this past week and it’s one of my favorite things, holding hands. I think in spirit of the Beatles, after this past week, the song that comes to my mind when I think of you is, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

I love you Uncle Dicky <3

I want nothing more then to have had you here this morning, to have kissed you, hugged you, helped you for the day but most of all to have told you how much I Love You today!! Rick, our talks, laughs and cries over the last few months were evident in the last days that we spent together, as a FAMILY! None of us would change, not even one second, the Love that we showed to one another and to you,in the last four days we spent together helping you to go to heaven. I kept each promise and will continue to honor our Love. It’s not going to be easy going on without you Babe, I’m devestated to even have to do it but I hope you know I will be ok!! I Love You!

Always and Forever,
Lorrie

Dear Beautiful Pond Family.
I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Dickie. He’s too young to go. We should all live until we are 100. I know that you all adore each other—Donna keeps me posted on your gatherings, fun, crazy times as well as sad. Please know that you are all in my prayers. Please let Rose know I am sorry for her loss. That’s got to be tough to lose your child. Stay close and connected. Life is such a gift which we take for granted far too often. love, Bobbie

Lorrie, Matt and Eric,  My condolences to your family.  I was sorry to learn of the loss of Rick.  I remember standing at various events at South Jeff and talking with him.  I always respected his knowledge of sports and his sense of humor.  The Riley Family has suffered many losses over the past year and this is another significant loss. It seems impossible that someone so young is gone from this world and there will be a great deal of pain.  Remember the good times you had with your husband/father and keep the sanctity/support of family nearby as it is this strength that helps life improve over time.
