Marie was one of the coolest and most talented people I encountered in my career as a journalist. She knew how to market herself in a good way. She wanted to share her art with the rest of the world and I was privileged to help her do it. My deepest condolences to her family.

So sorry for your loss of this wonderful lady. I joined the board of the North Country Artists Guild when we first moved here because of Marie and am glad to have had time with her. She was a graceful lady.

Dear Dan, Kathryn, and family,

So very sorry for your loss. Marie popped into my head just this evening before I knew of her passing. I also got an email tonight from an art friend who said he and another art friend talked of Marie on Sunday and were planning to check in with her.  I think Marie was making the rounds.  Isn’t that just like her?  Prayers for your family.  XOX
