Louis will be missed on the street with the everyday wave or drive by and occasionally a stop and visit. As I kept his driveway cleared in the winter he was always watching closely. Thank you for allowing me to assist you in the smallest things.

Dear Steve and Chris ,

I am very sorry to hear of your father passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time. I will never forget growing up next door to your mom and dad and seeing them on a daily basis. They were wonderful people to whom were great neighbors and friends. Louie was always someone my dad spoke highly of and was one of the few of the “old guard” that was still around. May god bless your family. Michael Lennox

Steve and Chris,

So sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts are with you and your families.
It always brought a smile to see your parents walking together with their little dog on a string.  I felt bad last summer that there were no blackberries for me to take your Dad.  How happy they made them both.  He said he would make his famous pie.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Steve and Kathy,
Sad to read of your father’s passing.  Sending love and prayers your way.  I did not know your Dad and my Dad shared the name “Edgar” and that they both had Alzheimer’s. Now they share passing over, April 10th and 15th.  They’d probably enjoy each other too!  Miss you…

Steve & Chris….so sorry for your loss.  Your dad was one of the few that I still know in Edwards.  I’ll miss seeing your mom and dad walking by Charlie’s on Sunday mornings.  I hate to see these older ones pass on because they were such an important part of “our ” growing up in Edwards.  Take care and stop in Harrisville sometime.
