Kayden L. Foote

Kayden L. Foote

2012 - 2016

October 30, 2012, The Lord blessed our family with Kayden Lee Foote, and on February 9, 2016, He called him home. Heaven's gain was our loss.

Kayden spent his journey in life defying odds and though his little body was weak from the moment he was born, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible obstacles. His fighting spirit amazed and inspired. His life was too short for many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity of his time on earth.

Although Kayden could not use his words to express his feelings, his big brown eyes filled our hearts with his inconceivable love every day.

His footprints were small, but left an enormous imprint on our hearts. He taught us all that life is precious because he was precious.

You were so strong Kayden, and we will miss you every day.

Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, sweet boy.

Kayden is survived by his loving parents; Zachary Foote and Cynthia Maggard, his twin brother and best friend Carter Foote; paternal grandparents, Lee and Laurel Blackmore, his Uncle Jesse and Aunt Kaitie;  maternal grandparents, David Maggard, Margarita Fiaschetti-Petrie, Uncle Leo, and Uncle Enrico. Kayden's extended family includes great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, therapists, nurses, and many family friends, all of whom loved him very much.

An hour of calling will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 11 am to noon at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. The funeral service will be held at noon with Reverend Steven Murray officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be made to www.dlcalarco.com

You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.  I hold my daughter often and worry about her being taken too soon, I can only hope there is some way you can find comfort in him leaving you too soon and remember all those good times, the smallest of memories, a touch, a holding of your hand.  His smile shows the happiness that only love could have given him.

I read this obituary of this young man I didn’t know, and it is beautifully written.
In heaven it is on earth with no pain. And as a nurse, I have seen life and death. All I can say is we serve our purpose and we are called home. God likes a variety in heaven. For our grief is for OUR physical loss of body, for his soul lives forever spreading joy in heaven.
May god bless your family.

The pain of losing a child is something no parent should endure. The saving grace is that Carter will have the best guardian Angel a brother could ever ask for. Never be afraid to mention his name or speak of your pain. People who matter will be there to listen. Time doesn’t heal all…but someday you will have a new normal. God bless your family

Kayden lit up the world for many people in his life. I was fortunate enough to be a part of his life at school. His smile was contagious and those eyes, well, who could resist those eyes! And although he has left us, he has moved on to a bigger journey, one filled with peace and without pain. He is proudly showing off his angel wings and watching over us all. Kayden left an imprint on so many, many hearts. One that will never fade or be forgotten. Thank you for sharing this precious, very special little boy with us at school. We will treasure the time we shared with kayden. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. God bless, Miss Kathy
