I knew Joe from his morning workouts at Planet Fitness. He came in every morning with a smile. He brightened my mornings, calling me Emily, he would tell me it’s a beautiful day, keep smiling- whether the sun was shining or not. He made a difference in my life and I looked forward to seeing him. My condolences and prayers to his family.

Thank you, Joe, for being such a sweet person to everyone around and reminding me that even the smallest gestures can change a person’s life forever.

I was very sad to hear about Joe’s passing.  I knew Joe from the downtown YMCA where we called him the Mayor of the Y.  He became a great friend who always was so sweet to everyone.  I looked forward to his tomatoes every year!  I will always have fond memories.  God bless Joe and your family! My thoughts and prayers are with you,

My prayers are with the the children of Joe,Rita and Eugene. Joe and the Misercola family were my family also, bound by real friendship through 3 generations. I will miss Joe’s jokes about my grandpa,he could imitate his broken English so well and we could laugh about it with respect. I always felt comfortable coming over to the house without notice (that’s the way it always was since my youth).
God bless his soul.
