I am so sad to hear about the loss of Henry.. He was one of the sweetest men I have ever known! I had the pleasure of spending vacation with him in New Orleans and Las Vegas not to mention time at his business and home.. I still have several gifts he gave to me and my husband years ago! Wonderful wonderful man. I am certain he is at peace. Much love to him ❤️

My dad, Lefty Howe, worked for Mr. Rouse, Rouse Construction, for many years. I worked for Mr. Rouse one summer at the Rouse Building, Washington St. Very nice man. So down-to-earth. A great man will be missed.

Memories of boating and friends along the St Lawrence must now be “Toasted.”  Henry usually was the one observing, standing with a strong frame and a watchful eye.  River Rats, one and all, need to give a “thought” for those who Fade Away.  Judi & PPP

Sending the family all my love and prayers. So so sad to hear that Hank passed away. I was thinking about Hank the other day. I have so many good memories of Hank. What laughs we shared over the years.  Much love and prayers, Maureen

Condolences left by other guests:

Henry will be missed by all the old river rats, including this one.He was a dear friend with the greatest sense of humor. His hearty laugh and sparkling blue eyes always made you feel welcomed. The summers on the river will never be the same without his strong presence, but his memory will be like the river, constant, always there to be cherished and enjoyed.
With my deepest sympathy to all his family,
Chrissy Hoffmann Baird
