There are no words powerful enough to express sorrow for your loss. May you take solace in the great memories you have. May God grant you peace and comfort while the memories you cherish bring solace when you need it. May you always remember, “God is healing the brokenhearted ones and binding up their painful spots” -Psalms 147:3 With heartfelt sympathy and prayers

Hi Jerry, Mary, Eva and Cynthia (and of all your families) - I was sorry to hear of your mother’s death.
I remember visiting Dot in Watertown when I was just starting out on the Douglass genealogy. She was very gracious and a great help to me. We corresponded for a number of years. She wrote a great letter.
May your memories sustain you all during this sad time. With Love,
Ethel Mae Ingalls

We were so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing.  We always enjoyed our visits with her and loved her great sense of humor.  She was Evelyn’s dearest friend and shared many memories dating back to the 1940’s.  They exchanged numerous handwritten letters over the years to keep in touch….“Dottie” was very special.  Our deepest condolences to the family.

Dear Family, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you all. ‘Aunt’ Dorothy remains a very strong memory of my childhood. I was lucky enough to have her as my neighbor and care provider. Aunt Dorothy was a kind soul with great patience, understanding, knowledge, and love. I have wonderful memories of her baking cookies and singing, she was always happy to see me and gave wonderful hugs. I’m sure that Aunt Dorothy will be greatly missed by all. Again, my condolences and I wish for all of the family continued health, happiness and warm memories. God bless.
