She loved to travel, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, spend time with her family and friends often playing dominoes and card games. She was a great bowler, active in co-ed and women’s leagues and loved to play and watch golf. She loved to read and shared that joy with her husband and children. She always rooted for her children’s sports teams and was an avid SU basketball fan.

For all of Elma’s family please except my deepest sympathies at Emma’s passing. She was a great lady,I knew Elms through Jefferson County home care. I was a home health aide, that had the pleasure of taking of her daughter payne. While doing that I met Alma what a strong, and great lady.she was very caring, had great smile that made others shine. She was a always ready to help others. I had the opportunity to care for Elma a few times, and no matter what she always tried to do what was asked of her. She will be in my prayers tonight has will all your family.

To Alma’s family,

I was a classmate of Jane, and a fellow parishioner at St. Paul. I remember her and Fred fondly and well - they were wonderful folks. I especially remember their many kindnesses toward me and my family. May she rest in peace, and may you find comfort in your time of grief.
